A chronicle of each year's events, The Biolan showcases student life, education, and faith in an integral and theme-driven manner. Starting out as a small black-and-white book with small photos, The Biolan has grown with the evolution of technology and the student population to its present 264 pages with many large full-color photographs and progressive design.

The Chimes serves as a training ground for future journalists, allowing them to gain crucial experience as members of a highly dedicated staff. Members' time with The Chimes will help them to perform their professional duties with excellence while also remaining true to the biblical principles they have learned and practiced as student journalists.

Established in 2005, Inkslinger is an official club at Biola University that operates as a staff of student editors and designers who review, collate, and publish a yearly print journal of exemplary student work. They publish poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, photography, and art in black and white. Submit one of your pieces for a chance to be published or apply for the staff to gain experience working on a literary magazine.
